Christmas Eve Card

Hello everyone! Today it is Christmas Eve so what better way to celebrate than with a lovely Christmas Eve card. The new Xcut Village scene dies are perfect for creating a whimsical winter card. Use deep blues and purples from the Papermania capsule colours cardstock pack for a nighttime scene.

To make:

1. Cut pieces of Kraftstax to fit the panels of your stepper card, creating a darker background. Using the Xcut village scene die, cut 6 rows in three different card colours, and stamp in the detail using the coordinating stamp set and black ink. You can stamp some buildings with gold ink too for a subtle hint of shimmer.
2. Layer up the village scenes on your stepper card, with three rows at the back and three at the front. Using foam pads allows you to bend the die cuts in the middle so that they pop forward from the card and create the illusion of depth.
3. Add silver gems in bursts of three to suggest swirls of snow, and, finally, add your ‘Christmas eve’ sentiment at the bottom with Glitterations alphabet stickers in silver and black.

Merry Christmas ^_^
