I don’t do scrapbook pages very often because I find it easier to work smaller on a card, but I really wanted to try a layout with the English Garden papers from Craft Consortium as they have such a lovely springtime feel to them.
I chose a picture that James took a couple of years ago when we put down new turf in the garden of our new home and after a few weeks it was a lively bright green colour. This was on a frosty spring morning when the sun was just about out but it was still rather cold!
The heart shapes are toppers from the English Garden paper pack, and I also die cut a doily shape from coordinating paper. The title is die cut from kraft card with the Xcut Folk Alphabet die set.
I also wrapped twine round the picture and attached two little flowers to the right of it with craft tape.
