Gypsy Gypsy Congratulations Card

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing a congratulations card that I made using the Gypsy Gypsy paper pad from Craft Consortium. My last one here used lots of deep, bright colours so for this one I wanted to show how versatile the pack is and use some of the lighter colours.

I made this card for my friend after hearing the exciting news that she had got engaged to be married! I am so happy for her and her hubby-to-be :)

First I cut a square of glittered polka dot paper for the background and distressed the edges, then I added a smaller square of distressed butterfly paper centrally on top, curling the corners in. Next I cut out a couple of the postcard designs from the paper pack and layered them up, adding a fussy-cut rose on top, and added a butterfly transfer behind it. I tucked a paper banner behind the rose, then added a wooden one with the stamped ‘congrats’ sentiment and finally glued a metal bow charm on top.
