Today I’m sharing quite a traditional style card that I’ve put together using different elements from the Gypsy Gypsy 12×12 paper pad from Craft Consortium. I love the roses, blooms and gorgeous vintage designs in the pack so I wanted to make a card that was a little bit old school romantic. This would be perfect for an anniversary card.
I started by using the bloom patterned paper as the base layer and added a strip of Kanban glittered patterned acetate along the bottom with some lace on top to hide the join. I used one of the gorgeous white lace rub-on transfers from the Gypsy Gypsy paper pack to add a border above the brown lace and then added a rose topper cut from the paper pack. I added a layer of sparkle to a Bare Basics ‘someone special’ wooden sentiment with my Wink of Stella pen and added a small piece of twine to the top. I attached it to the card with a fine-tip glue pen. Finally, I cut out a butterfly from another of the paper sheets and added it on top of the background butterfly, again with a little Wink of Stella glitter.
