Hi everyone! This week I have been making Jolly Santa Christmas cards using the Jolly Santa range from docrafts Papermania. The imagery is really sweet and my favourite product has to be the gingerbread man tag stamp!
To make this card I used a Jolly Santa candy striped card blank and matted it with white textured carstock, inking the edges in gold dye ink. I added a smaller panel of Jolly Santa sentiments paper on top and borders across the card. I stamped the gingerbread tag in brown dye ink and matted to checked paper. I cut it out and attached to the card with 3D foam tape. I added a sentiment and gems to the card and a bow and twine on top, and then three punched snowflakes and gems on the left.
For this quick and simple card I built up the Jolly Santa decoupage with foam squares and added it to the centre of a Jolly Santa ‘Season’s Greetings’ card blank. I added punched snowflakes and gems round the circle and finished with a coordinating bow. This didn’t take long to make and would be a good design for batches of cards if you’ve lots to do!
