Seashell card

Hi everyone! Today I’m posting a quick tutorial on how to make this seashell card.

Seashell card

I used the Creativity Club printable papers and decoupage. You can find out more about how to become a member of the docrafts Creativity Club on the docrafts site here.

Once you have downloaded and printed your papers, cut a piece of the blue bubbles paper just smaller than your 5×7 card blank, distress the edges with a craft knife or pair of scissors, and adhere to the card.

Next cut a piece of wavy paper smaller than the bubbles paper, distress and ink the edges with brown dye ink, and adhere centrally. Using Artiste Sea Spray acrylic paint, add some waves and dots to the card as shown and leave to dry.

Cut a small rectangle of turquoise shell paper, distress the edges, and adhere to the right of the card. Make a small cut in the spine of the card and wrap a length of twine through three times, tying in a bow at the end.

Build up the shell decoupage and adhere to the twine. Snip the ends of the twine bow to leave them loose and glue a red bow on top.

Stamp your happy birthday sentiment on white card with pink ink and cut out. Adhere to the card on top of a blue bubble paper pennant shape.

Finish off with a sprinkling of silver gems!
