Sequin jar card

Hi everyone, I have been crafting with the pretty Crate Paper Poolside papers I bought at Newbury Craft Fair in January. The first card I’ve made is a birthday card using vellum (a sequin jar card!), acetate and a jar topper with a pocket that you can put sequins in. It’s sort of like a shaker card but the sequins don’t shake around, they just stay put!

Here’s a video of me putting it together.

When you are working with vellum and acetate you have to be sure to use the right kind of adhesive so it doesn’t show through. I’ve used tacky glue to adhere the vellum round the edge and then I’ve gone over the line on top of the vellum with a doodled border. I’ve used double sided sticky tape for the acetate and as this one has a gold pattern on top it doesn’t really show through.

I also made another summer birthday card with the same range.
