Stampin’ Up Spring/Summer makes

Hi everyone, I have ordered lots of new goodies from the Stampin’ Up Spring catalogue with a few free Sale-a-bration items – you can see all the lovely papers etc. that I ordered in my YouTube video.

I had a craft evening with my friends and managed to make lots of cards. Here they are:

I started with a Crumb Cake card blank and embossed it with the Softly Falling embossing folder to create a confetti effect, then stapled a strip of Pool Part glitter ribbon top left. I added a strip of vellum paper across the card with Mint Macaron lace on top and a stamped sentiment, then added the punched and stamped balloons and twine string.

For this card I again used a Crumb Cake card blank and embossed it with the World Traveler embossing folder, then inked it with Tip Top Taupe ink. I added a strip of paper from the Going Places paper pack and added a stamped plane and sentiment from the Sale-a-bration Sky Is the Limit set.

I really liked the combination of this stamp set and papers so I made a few more cards along the same theme.

I also decided to have a go with my Sea Street stamps that I got for Christmas but hadn’t used so far. The cards are a little messy and not really as nice as the others but I loved stamping the little fish, though the octopus didn’t come out so well as you can’t see his eyes.

And finally I made this little dinosaur card using my No Bones About It stamp set to use up a few remaining scraps.
