Colouring stamped imagesby StickerKittenSeptember 17, 2016 |

Hi everyone! I’ve put together a little video tutorial showing you how easy colouring stamped images with watercolour pens can be! The video is only 40 seconds long so prepare for a whirlwind tutorial!

You will need

You will need: Birthday Dinos stamps, a black permanent ink pad (I’ve used Stampin’ Up’s archival ink pad), an acrylic block, watercolour pens (I’ve used docrafts Artiste pens), a paintbrush and water.

Instructions

Step 1: Stamp your image with black permanent ink.
Step 2: Scribble on the acrylic block with your pens.
Step 3: Use a paintbrush and water to pick up the ink from the block and paint on to your stamped image.

I then die cut my image with a circle die and made a cute card with papers from the Birthday Dinos paper pack. The glitter ribbon is from Stampin’ Up.

I also added a few sequins for a bit of extra sparkle. I like the combo of gold and turquoise.

Happy crafting!
