StickerKitten Bee Garden – new range coming soon!Hi there crafters! I am pleased to let you know that our new StickerKitten Bee Garden range is underway and will be available to purchase from our online shop from mid April. In this new collection we have a gorgeous 150x150mm (nearly 6×6″) paper pack filled with beautiful mixed white and pastel watercolour designs and stylish kraft designs, a cute and versatile A6 photopolymer stamp set, a new gorgeous sparkly sequin pack and beautiful laser-cut wooden bee embellishments.
For the paper pack we wanted a fresh and contemporary feel, something that was unique to the market with a mixed white and kraft paper pack. We chose a pastel colour palette for the white papers and did all the watercolour illustrations by hand, painting lots of different leaf and floral designs and background patterns until we found five that worked harmoniously together. James then created the patterns from our painted designs. The five complementary kraft papers feature bees, hives, honeycomb, honey jars and wreath designs, all hand-illustrated by James.
The papers are 150x150mm, perfectly sized to just fit a 6×6″ card blank without trimming. The white papers are premium quality 160gsm with a slight texture for a luxury feel, and the kraft papers are also 160gsm with a rougher grain to add texture to your projects. You get 30 sheets in each pack (3 of each design).
Next in the collection we have our beautiful photopolymer stamp set. Photopolymer is a high-quality material with superior stamping quality for crisp impressions every time you stamp. We have designed each stamp in the set to coordinate with the papers and for maximum versatility in creating your own designs.
The bee and wreath are separate stamps but work perfectly together to create toppers for your cards.
Tiny little ditsy florals and a hexagon floral pattern for making backgrounds and toppers. What’s that? ‘Do the tiny flowers stamp inside the hexagon flowers?’ I hear you ask … why yes! Yes they do! (But you need a darn steady hand and a good eye hehe).
Who doesn’t love a super cute little jar stamp?! Jars are totally in at the mo and these are even better because they’re honey jars! One has a tiny little bee and a bow on the jar, and the other says ‘honey’ in James’s scripty handwriting. You can stamp and cut them out individually to use as mini toppers or embellishments, or you could make a whooooolllleee background of honey jars. Sweet.
If you love making your own textured effect backgrounds you’ll adore the little honeycomb and leaf patterned stamps that come in the set. Each stamp joins perfectly end to end for you to create patterns in all kinds of pretty ink colours! You can create card backgrounds, cover envelopes, decorate scrapbook pages – loads of options.
Now I mentioned some shiny sequins and wooden bee embellishments too, so I shall have some pictures of those up for you just as soon as I have them here to photograph.
Plus, in case you hadn’t noticed we have a shiny new website! The shop is much improved and there are some new pages including an updated about us and contact us. Let us know if you have any feedback. Oh, and please do sign up to our new newsletter!
