You are pawsome cardHello today I am sharing a card featuring the Sticker Kitten Space Dogs stamp set.
To start my card I used Distress inks to blend a galaxy background. I die cut an A6 stitched rectangle using a die from Heffy Doodle, out of a piece of Bristol smooth card. I selected some bright coloured inks plus some a dark blue and black. I used foam blending tools to add the ink. To blend a galaxy you need patience as it will look like a hot mess to start but keep going the end result is worth it. I placed random areas of the brighter colours and the dark blue around these. Building up in layers I kept going back in and adding more of the same inks. adding black at the end to darken up the sky.
Once my background was dry I added splatters from a paint brush of white acrylic paint and some metallic watercolours.
Next I worked on my images. I stamped the space dogs on to smooth white card adding the helmets over their heads. I coloured them in Copic markers and used some pencil crayons for a bit of depth and shading. I fussy cut them out and went around the edges with a black marker to hide the white paper for a neat finish.
I used a circle die to cut a piece of paper from the Sticker Kitten Celestial paper pack to make the moon and stamped the sentiment in the centre with black ink. I put the panel together using a tape runner to adhere the dogs and the moon and adhered my panel to a white A6 card base. To complete the card I added glossy accents over the space helmets.
