I am super excited to tell you that StickerKitten has won an award! We attended the Craft Business Awards 2018 at CHSI Stitches (which is a craft trade show in Birmingham), where we received the Highly Commended award in the Best Start-Up category.
The awards are run by Craft Business magazine which is a fantastic resource for anyone who works in the industry featuring all the latest news and updates on craft trends.
We got to go up on stage to collect our framed certificate. Here I am with Danielle, who is the advertising manager for the magazine.
We also got a goody bag with some nice prizes including gardening kits, a book, drink and snacks and a copy of the latest issue of Craft Business.
CHSI Stitches
CHSI Stitches is a craft trade show which is held in February each year at the Birmingham NEC. It’s a chance for brands to exhibit and for retailers to meet them and see the new products coming out. We didn’t have a stand, but went along in person to meet with some of the people we collaborate with, and to make new contacts. Yet again it was a fantastic event! When we went for the first time last year we only had a few products – just our Birthday Dinos and Penguins and Presents ranges. The people we met and the seminars we went to really inspired us to keep going and to feel a part of this wonderful industry. This year we went with four ranges under our belt (with more different types of products than before), and two more ranges on the way, including our forthcoming Bird Garden collection. We were so excited to have won the award, and to have spent such a fab two days meeting with people. But now it’s back to work to get our new range ready for launch on 18th March. Pop the date in your diary – we are launching live on Hochanda at 10am!
