Beautiful Easter crafts with the Bird Garden rangeHappy Easter everyone! Hope you all have a chance to enjoy the long weekend. A perfect time to sit down and do some beautiful Easter crafts – and the ones I have to show you today are made using our pretty Bird Garden range, with some of the new papers from our Bee Garden range.
My mum always does a lovely Easter dinner for us and decorates the table with Easter treats. Here is one of her handmade Easter baskets made with a combination of both the Bird Garden paper packs (designer and basics) and the lovely little blue tit and leafy branch toppers from the ephemera pack.
This Easter basket uses the Sizzix Bigz L Basket 2 Die but you could use any similar die or template to create the same effect. The egg in the basket is a wooden egg covered with strips of blue patterned paper from the Bird Garden Basics paper pack. You could make a collection of little baskets as a table centrepiece, or make individual ones filled with chocolate eggs or other treats as little favours.
I created this bright and spring-like Easter card with the pretty polka dot pastel papers from our new Bee Garden Basics paper pack. I used an oval nesting die to cut four eggs in different colours and layered them together. I wrapped round some grey ribbon and then attached the nested eggs to an A6 card blank with foam squares. I then die cut a few layers of grass using the Xcut English Countryside Borders set and added them to the bottom of the card. I stamped ‘happy easter’ with some mini Dovecraft alphabet stamps and added the sentiment to the card and then glued a grey bow on to the egg.
The final project is these pretty teacups made by my mum. She used the Sizzix Bigz L 3-D Tea Cup Die along with our Bird Garden papers to make these three table decorations.
I just love how sweet and delicate they are! And that she has made little tea bags with our logo on too. These would be ideal filled with little chocolate eggs, or even an LED candle to make a pretty display by the fireplace.
I hope you have enjoyed this little look at some Easter craft ideas and are feeling inspired to get making this weekend!
